while Bosh may play harder than Bynum i don't think Bosh is that much more talented than Bynum. it might be a wash but who knows. Bynum just looks more comfortable when he has the paint all to himself, without Pau in there.

Bynum stays hurt, Kupchack should be down on his knees blowing the sox off the Raptors general Manager to make this sign and trade happen!

This deal should have been done when it was first mentioned. With Gasol, Odom, Bosh, and Kobe starting, you could have a Clippers point guard start and the Lakers would still win.

How old is Bosh though? If this trade does go down, how long will Bosh last before he starts to slack off because of age old injuries? I just hope it doesn't turn into a trade the Lakers will later regret.

If it aint broke, dont try to fix it. Make minor changes next year. Get an athletic swing man and a starting point guard. resign fisher to back up the new starting point guard.

The NBA draft has plenty of point guards that could help the Lakers like Matt Bouldin, Sherron Collins, Greivis Vasquez, and Willie Warren

haha.trying to rip them off eh?

Bosh would get you more rings than Bynum can count up to. Bynum as been in the league for 5 years and has a ring thanks to gasol and kobe but he has not shown he is worth more than bosh. And i doubt he ever will be even close to his game.

Well the problem is that Bynum is broke, and we need to fix it. Bynum can`t stay healthy long enough. They need to put this package together before the Raptors find out they are getting ripped off.

It's a gamble. Bynum "might" be the team's future... or he "might" be the next Bill Walton or Sam Bowie.

I'd say go for it, try to win now, but the only thing is... they already are winning now, so... yeah.

Bosh and Gasol play alike...Gasol for Bosh makes more sense but not gonna happen...Bynum will be on the roster next year along side Gasol to attempt to defend their championship. Dont be surprised if Bynum slowly starts to take over the primary responsibilities in the post.

I would agree. Bosch is already an established star in the NBA, while Bynum is hoping to be one, provided that he stays injury-free. I understand that we'll lose a little bit of length & muscle in the low post but for a star and a US olympian , I'd pull the trigger on this one quick!

There is big money at stake here. I am sure the Lakers have the top specialists giving them odds on whether Drew will suffer a career ending injury in the forseeable future. That is what this is all about.

If the front office has inside information that there is really a congenital problem with his knee, then they have no choice but to palm him off on somebody. As great as Drews upside is, the downside is something to consider.

In this case, I really have faith in our front office. They know the ins and outs of injuries much better than we do. I hope Drew stays and is healthy. But if his health is in doubt, we have to trade him before it is too late.

If that were to happen, I would really feel bad for Drew. He finally played his heart out, was the STARTING CENTER on the World Champion Lakers and now he might wind up in bumf*** Egypt, with no chance of any more rings, through no fault of his own? That indeed would be fucked up.
