Can the Lakers pull off another stunner before the Feb. 18 trade deadline? Probably not. They have some expiring contracts to make an offer (Adam Morrison at $5.3 million, Derek Fisher at $5 million and Jordan Farmar at $1.9 million), but most teams insist on the deep-pocketed, large-market Lakers taking back players who don't come off the books until after next season at the earliest. Lakers are the favorites and dont have to get addtional help. It would be nice to get some scoring punch off the bench but if they suit up the current roster for the playoffs I feel very confident they come out on top.

Lakers should trade Sasha and Morrison w/draft picks just to clear up space, i mean thats $10,000,000 right there

Why are you so concerned about the Lakers saving money? Are you one of Jerry Buss's kids?

I can see them trading Morrison to save some cash but why give up on sasha...he is still getting playing time and they do need a shooter.
