I just read the ESPN insider and it says that the Lakers are very close to pulling the trigger on a trade with the Bulls. Kirk Hinrich for Jordan Farmar, Josh Powell, and Morrison. Apparently the Lakers are the ones holding up the deal. I don`t know about this one man, I`m a Farmar and a Josh Powell fan. I don`t think I would do it. Nay!

That's too much for Kirk Hinrich. I do understand why the Bulls would be talking about this trade since there is no time for Hinrich on the Bulls, but no matter what, the Lakers are trading by the deadline.

I think something is up, to many Laker rumors swirling around. Lakers aren`t usually mentioned in to many rumors. I`m starting to dig the Chris Bosh trade rumor.

What Nate trade? I don`t think the Knicks are shopping him. Have you heard something? and for who?

I like this trade. Powell and Morrison aren't doing much these days, so in affect, Farmar for Hinrich sounds really good!

I have not paid much attention to Hinrich, so in essence you are saying he is a better player than Farmar and Powell. I won`t count Morrison because I couldn`t even get a bag of hot cheetos for this fool.

Hinrich has a sweet outside jumpshot and is a good ballhandler.

i'd say phil prefers a guard like hinrich than nate. a bigger guard that's more of a facilitator.

I'm all over that Hinrich trade. Morrison is a joke. Farmar is an inconsistent baby. Powell wont ever reach his potential in LA. Get Hinrich...... And it's time for Andrew "my head is bigger than my game" Bynum. 15 and 8 aint cutting it. 22 and 12 and he can stay. He's a pussy.

Hinrich was thought of 2-3 years ago as a borderline star in the NBA. I believe he also was part of the trade package for Kobe a couple of years ago.

I totally agree on this. How long must we wait until Powell FINALLY finds himself? Let's be honest here, they only throw Powell in there to commit fouls and to throw his body around a bit. Same with Morrison. Half the time that I see this foo, he looks like he's :blaze: or something. I see no real use for this guy. And it's true, Farmar is inconsistent. He isn't a very good defender either. When he's on fire, he can make some pretty much needed 3 pointers. Other than that,
Won't be a total loss anyway because we still have Brown. :alright: :basketball:

I say go for the Hinrich trade.

i like powell. i think he's improved significantly from last year. but he sure isn't gonna get into the rotation unless someone gets hurt since phil uses a 3 man rotation for his bigs. powell is like roni. he can get some minutes and be of some value on another team.

That's true, but obviously not enough to keep him from trade talks.

Why would the Lakers hold this up?
DO IT, DO IT NOW!
Hell, a ball handler who can shoot!!!!!!

This is the piece. Farmar doesn't have the right attitude to ever be great. He thinks he does, and that's the biggest problem.

Hinrich would relish the role.

Because the regular season doesn't matter, and this veteran teams knows that.
Also, the bench sucks.

Agreed. That's why I said he would never reach his potential on the Laker's. He is a good player who could start somewhere and improve immensely. Cut him loose so that he can flourish.
