Kobe's 3-pter with 4.3 seconds left lifts Lakers over Grizzlies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Kobe Bryant returned to lineup after missing five games with an ankle injury and hit a 3-pointer with 4.3 seconds left to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to 99-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday night.

Bryant led the Lakers with 32 points, including his team's final nine points. His 3-pointer with 54 seconds left tied the game.

Pau Gasol added 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Lakers, who won for the seventh time in their last eight road games.

The Grizzlies, who lost their fifth straight home game, were led by O.J. Mayo's 25 points. Zach Randolph scored 20 and grabbed 14 rebounds, his seventh straight double-double.

I dont like Joel Myers all that much but he nailed the Kobe call...i heard both his and Spero's call on Kobe's last second shot and Myers was much better than Spero's...Lakers need to step up and get some top tier announcers on their team...This was home of Chick and we need a worthy predecessor.

I am such a shitty fan.
I watched the whole game then turned it off after they fouled Mayo with 18 seconds.
Had to read about the ending in the paper. :wallbash:

My dumb friend changed the channel to WWE after Kobe got blocked and Lakers called a time out. He thought it was a full time out so when he came back to the game Kobe already hit the game winner...its what us sports fan always fear..investing 2 hours and missing the great ending. damn grown men wrestling fans.

I hardly watch NBA preseason (regular season) ball but in my opinion Joel sucks cock more than any other play by play man that I have listened too in a long time. He is also a total douche in real life. Double whammy.
