I cant explain that game..if i remember the Suns were throwing everything at him early..the game got away and it was just too far out of reach...Kobe also was off on his shot that day even when he did get free...Sally was probably trying to make an excuse for him but did a horrible job...Kobe wasnt tired that game...he just had a bad game...all greats have bad games sometimes...i think Kobe has had enough great games in his playoff history to make up for the bad games...The Suns were a better team and should have swept the Lakers...the only reason there was even a game 7 was cause of Kobe. Walton, Smush, Kwame and Odom as the #2 surrounded Kobe...yuck...that is when i give Kobe the most credit...he carried the worse playoff roster in history to a game 7 against a MUCH better team.

believe me, i want to think it was just a bad game.. i want to have an excuse for his play but the only thing that makes sense is that it was a statement to the laker organization, media and fans.

it was not a bad game. 3 shots? maybe he was just being covered really well or double teamed.. YEAH RIGHT!!! tired? YEAH RIGHT!!! trying to be a facilitator? in an elimination game.. YEAH RIGHT!!!
there is ONLY one logical explanation for it. he's too competitive to only get off 3 shots.

That's why the MJ vs. Kobe comparison is assanine.
Kobe isn't one of the 10 greatest players of all time, let alone the best.

Bring the hate.

We're talking Kobe Bryant here, aren't we? Dude can get off 30 shots a half if he wants to.
Anyway, he's a superstar douche but he's our superstar douche and no way the Lakers could win championships without him with the pussies they got on the team.

True that.
He's got us by the balls.

That said, I won't miss him when he's gone.

I know. As fans, we have to take the abuse of spectacular jaw dropping plays and winning championships. Damn you Kobe.

And you’ll miss him..like you’d miss your eyesight and dollar bills at a strip club.
