08:14 AM ET 07.11 | The Heat has talked to James Jones, who was bought out June 30, about re-signing for the minimum salary and there's interest on both sides. An NBA official mentioned Juwan Howard and Joe Smith among other veterans who would love to join the Heat at the minimum. Agents for Mike James, Von Wafer, Matt Barnes and others also have been in touch with the Heat, but Miami is being very selective.

:lmao: Juwan Howard amd Joe Smith, I thought those fuckers were dead. Out of this list only Matt Barnes would interest me. The Miami heat bench is starting to look like the golden girls. :lmao:

I bet Miami is being selective. They can probably only afford the league minimum for the rest of their players.

I like James Jones for the Lakers as their off the bench shooter...

Miami's roster is starting to take shape.
Rumors are that they have agreed to a contract for Mike Miller..around the same that the Lakers supposedely offered him, 5/30.
They are next trying to get Udonis Haslim back who is a solid big man. fill in the roster with guys like Derek Fisher, Von Wafer, Juwan Howard, Earl Watson, Joe Smith, Raja Bell, Big Z, etc....Its starting to look real good.

i don't agree with any of these analysts that say they they won't be good because they don't have a full roster. shit, cleveland's complete roster (excluding james) sucked last year and look how well they did?

They can go get whoever they want. They STILL won;t match up to the Lakers. I was just laughing with someone about how Artest would be on LeBennedict's ass like flies on shit, whenever they play head to head. Kobe on Wade, the bigs on Bosch. This teams gonna get beat up by the rest of the East. They WILL make the playoffs the first year, though.

Way to go out there on a limb there. I hope that they can somehow squeak into the playoffs with 2 serious MVP candidates and Chris Bosh.

Seems like everyone is signing 5 year deals. Looks like they'll have 5 years to win as many titles as possible before the team implodes.

I love the way you spelled his name. Try pronouncing it or fitting it on the back of a jersey. LOL
